NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; the Town Board of the Town of Hunter shall hold a Public Hearing at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the Town Hall located at 5748 Rte. 23A in Tannersville, NY, for proposed Local Law #2 of 2023 Volunteer Firefighters and Volunteer Ambulance Workers Real Property Tax Exemption with a special meeting on same to immediately follow public hearing.

Hiring EMT’s and Drivers at Hunter Ambulance

The Town of Hunter is actively seeking credentialed EMT’s, or those seeking EMT certification. We offer industry competitive compensation for both full time and part time candidates. Come and work for a highly experienced and growing team of professionals!

Guidelines for Employment and Sponsoring

· Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.

· Must have a valid CPR card.

· Driver training on site, experience not needed.

· Non credentialed applicants can be hired as a Driver and be enrolled into the first EMT class available.

· Town will provide a list of future classes once hired. Town of Hunter will sponsor applicant for the class.

· Must work a minimum of two 12 hour shifts per month with more shifts available.

· Six-month probationary period for any new employee.

· For EMT sponsorship, must remain employed and compliant with conditions of employment for at least one year.

A public hearing is scheduled for the next regular meeting of the Town of Hunter Planning Board on February 7th, 2023 at the Town of Hunter Town Hall 5748 Route 23A in Tannersville NY at 6:30pm. This public hearing under parcel # 166.01-1-1-18 at 48 Thurber Rd in the Town of Hunter is for Site Plan review of addition of ancillary residence. The Planning Board routinely notifies adjoining neighbors and conducts a public hearing in accordance with the Town of Hunter Site Plan Law. NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE TANNERSVILLE JOINT FIRE DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Town Law, the annual election of the TANNERSVILLE JOINT Fire District will be held at the Rescue Squad Building located at 21 Park Lane, Tannersville, New York, on Tuesday the13th day of December, 2022, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 pm. for the purpose of electing one (1) Fire District Chairman to a five-year term, commencing on January 1, 2023 and ending on December 31, 2027.

Any person desiring to have their name added to the ballot for this position must submit their name and address in writing to the Secretary of the Fire District no later than December 5, 2022.

Those who are qualified to vote at the elections are qualified voters who shall have resided in said Fire District for thirty days next preceding such election.  Any person wishing to vote must be registered to vote on or before November 21, 2022.
