Tax Collector

The Property Taxes are mailed out at the end of December so residents can receive them on or around January 1^st.

Payments postmarked by January 31st will be accepted without penalty. Please review the back page of your tax bill for penalty due after that deadline. If you are unsure of the amount due, please contact the Tax Collector (518) 589-6151, ext 311, or use the online service below as erroneous payment s will be returned as unpaid.

Taxes are collected at the Town Tax Collector’s office until July 31^st. Sometime during the first week of August, the Tax Collector turns the records over to the Greene County Treasurer at which time, unpaid taxes would then be due to the County.
