Patients without dental insurance pay a fee based on a sliding fee scale with proof of income.
If insured, your insurance will be billed. Medicaid, Child Health Plus and many private dental insurance providers are accepted.

DESCRIPTIVE SUMMARY OF DISSOLUTION PLAN
THE TOWN BOARD PROPOSES TO DISSOLVE THE HUNTER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 1 AS PART OF THE PROCESS TO CREATE A JOINT FIRE DISTRICT WHICH WILL PROTECT THE VILLAGE OF TANNERSVILLE AND THE TERRITORY WITHIN THE HUNTER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 1. THE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT HAS NO ASSETS, LIABILITIES OR EMPLOYEES AND THE MAXIMUM COST RELATED TO DISSOLUTION IS ESTIMATED AT $500. THE DISSOLUTION IS CONTINGENT ON THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE TANNERSVILLE FIRE DISTRICT. THE RESIDENTS OF THE HUNTER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 1WILL CONTINUE TO BE PROVIDED FIRE PROTECTION BY THE TANNERSVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AS PART OF THE JOINT FIRE DISTRICT, JUST AS THEY ARE NOW. NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Board for the Town of Hunter and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tannersville in the Town of Hunter, County of Greene, State of New York, having met in joint session on April 11, 2017, for the purpose of establishing the Tannersville Fire District, adopted a joint resolution, by a majority vote of each Board then present, which is subject to a permissive referendum in accordance with Article 7 of the Town Law of the State of New York.
An abstract of said joint resolution is as follows:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on April 11, 2017, the Town of Hunter Town Board and the Village of Tannersville Village Board each approved a Joint Resolution, that it is in the public interest to establish the Tannersville Fire District, and that the resolution establishing such joint fire district is subject to permissive referendum as provided in sections 90 and 89-a of the Town Law. The Town Board and the Board of Trustees considered the evidence and any objections presented at a joint public hearing, held on March 28, 2017, regarding the establishment of the said Tannersville Fire District. The fire district will include all parcels of land within the incorporated limits of the Village of Tannersville and the entire area of the Town of Hunter Fire Protection District No. 1.
The Town Board and the Village Board of Trustees resolved that the property and affairs of the Tannersville Fire District shall be under the management and control of an elected board of five fire commissioners, elected each year by the voters of the District, pursuant to Article 11 of the Town Law. The Tannersville Fire District shall have all the powers enumerated in Article 11 of the Town Law. Upon the passage of thirty days following publication of this notice, the Town Board for the Town of Hunter and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tannersville shall meet to pass a resolution confirming the initial appointment of five fire commissioners and their terms of office, as identified in the joint resolution establishing the Tannersville Fire District, who shall be thereafter elected pursuant to Article 11 of the Town Law.

Motorists are advised that work to repair a series of slopes Route 23A between Haines Falls and Palenville, in the towns of Hunter and Catskill in Greene County, is scheduled to restart on Monday, April 10.
Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. from April 10 to April 14, motorists may encounter flaggers along this stretch of Route 23A.
Starting Monday, April 17, traffic will be reduced to a single alternating lane controlled by traffic signals. The exact location of the lane closures will depend upon the pace of work on the slopes. However, no more than two temporary traffic signal pairs are expected to be active at any given time.
Work is expected to be completed by August. No full road closures are anticipated this year as part of this project.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver’s license.
